Inclusive learning working towards ASDAN Animal Care Short Course credits taught by experienced teacher Leonie Mattingley. Everyone works together on challenges at their own level. Accreditation is via hours worked and completed challenges.
This programme follows the ASDAN Animal Care short course and can accredit between 10 and 60 hours of activities and involvement in caring for animals.
Topics covered across the whole course range from looking after pets to learning more about wildlife and farm animals. Accreditation from this course can be useful for personal statements and also to demonstrate interest in vocational subjects that are not typically taught in school. Likewise animal care is a practical way to use knowledge learned in science.
The cost is £65 for the block of sessions with further bursary funding available. This course costs £145 per student to run and we always welcome additional contributions to reduce the impact on our bursary and help keep sessions available to as many learners who will benefit from them as possible.
